Holiday 2017: Sparkle With PANDORA!
A spontaneous decision . . .
A stop by the Maine Mall resulted to a spontaneous purchase at Pandora:
In agreement with my shopping companion for the night (My Mom) we purchased a Daughter ring. A daughter ring is nothing either of us had heard of before but we felt its purchase was justified in spirit of the new season and as a symbol for new beginnings.
As I had mentioned before in Instagram Posts, my brother passed away in August of 2016. The remainder of 2016 and holiday celebrations for that year were filled with doubt and were difficult to accept.
I have decided that my Daughter ring will serve as a reminder of how far I have come in understanding the loss of a loved one and moving past such a traumatic and unexpected event with strength. I am proud to wear my Daughter ring and think of my brother, my relationship as an only child to my parents and my future with faith and hope.
On a lighter note . . .
I am a fan of Pandora's new Winter 2017 campaign - maybe because I hope to resemble the model - but that's beside the point 😉. Check out the adorable video:
The campaign also includes a youthful and spirited model in its magazine ads featuring the company's stack-able and statement rings.
The ring I chose . . .
I chose a timeless statement ring with what I though was a Princess cut Stone, but is being referred to as a Denube-cut stone: http://www.pandora.net/en-us/products/rings/statement/190947cz
My Daughter "statement"ring makes me smile every-time I look at it and sparks memories of all the beautiful moments I shared with my brother during our time together and all the future moments I hope to share with my closer than ever immediate family continued spiritual relationship with my brother.
Wishing you all a happy and carefree Holiday shopping season AND in remembrance to those we have lost physically,
XOXO Her
