Benvenuto to Boston's North End . . .

(I lived in this neighborhood aka little Italy 3 years ago!)

Known for its rich Italian culture and rich history!
The Boston's North End restaurants definitely do not disappoint. If you are new to the area or just visiting, I suggest you make yourself a checklist (I wish I had done that!) to make sure that you enjoy as many restaurants as necessary.

Some do stand out of course, like: Bacco (had the best night filled with laughs reuniting w/ a couple college friends) and Vito's Tavern (I used to work here ;) as a second to my corporate job).

Mike's Pastry is famous but I also have a thing for Lulu's Sweet Shoppe, the owner Sandy is a sweetheart haha ... see what I did there? Make sure you stop by and say hi!

update 2021: Lulu's is no longer at that location.

When in the North End, I ALWAYS make sure I stop by Ensemble  - a fantastic boutique with anything from jewelry, fur coats, artsy items for the home, to gently worn items.

update 2021: Ensemble is no longer at that location.

Jusqu'à la prochaine fois! I have to go out now in the city for an awesome friend's birthday! Next post will be about the North End's historic side! kisses!  XO- HER
